Health Guarantee for Puppies
At puppalco , we are committed to providing our customers with healthy, happy, and well-cared-for puppies. We understand that adopting a puppy is a major decision, and we want to give you peace of mind knowing that the puppy you bring home is in great health.
Our Health Guarantee provides protection for your new puppy against serious health conditions that may arise shortly after adoption. Please read our policy below for detailed information about the terms of our Health Guarantee.
1. Health Check Before Adoption
Each puppy sold by puppalco undergoes a thorough health examination by a licensed veterinarian before they are available for adoption. This includes:
- Vaccinations: All puppies are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
- Deworming: Each puppy is treated for common parasites, and a record of deworming is provided.
- General Health: The puppy is examined for any signs of illness, congenital defects, or other health issues.
We ensure that each puppy is healthy before leaving our care and ready to join their new family.
2. Terms of Health Guarantee
We offer a [60]-day health guarantee for each puppy purchased from our store. The details of the guarantee are as follows:
- Duration of Health Guarantee: This guarantee is valid for the days from the date of adoption.
- Covered Health Conditions: If the puppy is diagnosed with any serious hereditary health issues or congenital defects that affect the puppy’s ability to live a normal life (as determined by a licensed veterinarian), we will offer you one of the following options:
- Replacement Puppy: We will offer a replacement puppy of equal value, subject to availability.
- Partial Refund: If a replacement puppy is not available, we may offer a partial refund, depending on the situation.
- Exclusions: The health guarantee does not cover:
- Conditions resulting from improper care, neglect, or accidents after adoption.
- Viral infections or illnesses contracted after the puppy is brought home.
- Routine care such as vaccinations, flea control, or minor ailments.
3. Health Guarantee Procedure
If you believe your puppy has a serious health issue covered under this guarantee, follow these steps:
Veterinary Documentation: You must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within [3] days of adoption. If your veterinarian diagnoses the puppy with a serious health issue covered under the guarantee, you must provide us with a written statement from the veterinarian, including the diagnosis and details of the health issue.

Return or Replacement: Once we confirm the issue with the veterinarian’s documentation, we will offer one of the following solutions:
- Replacement Puppy: We will provide a replacement puppy of equal value, subject to availability.
- Partial Refund: In cases where a replacement puppy is not available or if you prefer a refund, we may issue a partial refund of the original purchase price.
- We may also request the return of the puppy if a replacement or refund is processed.
Please note: Shipping costs for returning a puppy are the responsibility of the buyer, unless the puppy is defective or has a documented health condition.
4. Important Notes
- Proper Care: This Health Guarantee is void if the puppy is not properly cared for. Proper care includes providing food, water, exercise, and necessary medical attention, including regular veterinary checkups.
- Accidents and Injury: The Health Guarantee does not cover accidents, injuries, or conditions caused by abuse, neglect, or improper training.
- Post-Guarantee Care: After the health guarantee period expires, any future medical issues that arise are the responsibility of the owner. However, we are always available to offer advice and assistance if you need help caring for your puppy.
5. Limitations of the Health Guarantee
- No Coverage for Pre-existing Conditions: This Health Guarantee does not cover health issues that existed prior to the puppy’s adoption but were not detected at the time of sale.
- Non-transferable: This health guarantee is valid only for the original purchaser of the puppy and is non-transferable.
